Half way point
We are now half way through the season and the team is sitting in 4th position behind South Melbourne, Monash and Richmond. We have now played every side in the competition and we know what is in front of us to maintain our spot in the table. We will need to lift in the coming three matches against Croydon, Richmond and the old enemy Bulleen. We are capable of coming away with victories in each of these games.

The Pre Season
We have now played games against Monash(lost 2-1), Brighton(lost 3-2) and Croydon (Won 4-0). Martin has been using these matches to see where the new players to the team, Yianni, James, Keegan, Alex and Harry fit in and the team is yet to show its full potential.
The game against Croydon, the champions of the Kangaroo league in the 2006 season was a real test for the players as they were beaten 4-1 in the last encounter. Croydon had the better of the first 15 minutes. Our boys subsequently put 2 goals past croydon before half time and went into the break with their tails up.
The second half produced numerous attacking forays with a strong midfield performance from Yianni and Keegan and a firery performance from Will in defence. By the conclusion of the game Box Hill had posted another 2 goals to go 4 -1 up in an encouraging performance.
